Deltaphonic is a band you will remember; a New Orleans based duo that plays with a maniacal, yet cohesive musical energy. Inspired by musical and lyrical giants such as Tom Waits, Taj Mahal, ‘Mississippi’ John Hurt, Dr. John, Jimi Hendrix, and Townes Van Zandt, Deltaphonic experiments with classic sounds and garnishes the result with lyrics that oscillate between extreme satire and affection. On stage, Deltaphonic is all energy, a duo with a surprisingly big sound that often includes a horn section, elaborate costumes, and bizarre banter.
Since their formation on New Orleans’ Frenchmen Street in 2014, Deltaphonic has played hundreds of shows across the country. They recently released their debut album, Texas, Texas, and are currently working on their next EP, which they plan to exemplify their self coined “hill country disco” sound.

"The record is a diverse affair of blues, psychedelic rock, swampy folk and jam. The band on “Texas Texas” is large; it was a chance for Weekes to utilize the deep pool that is the New Orleans musician base, including Mardi Gras Indian Big Chief Smiley Ricks and Vincent LaBella of the New Orleans-based metal band Exhorder." --The Durango Herald

"Deltaphonic is badass. Great songs." --Trenton Ayers, Guitarist for Cedric Burnside Project

"Your shit if fucking awesome!" --Derrick Oops! Moss, Co-founder of Soul Rebels
