Recently visited your beautiful, exotic city and our host lives in the neighborhood. This is his neighborhood bar…so it became ours as well. How lucky were we! Love the Maple Leaf…loved the atomosphere, loved the music and how often does one meet a shape shifter? Thank you for great memories and for being such a Maple Leaf experience.
How very nice to have such a bad ass website! Thanks for making it happen B! I wonder if I am the shape shifter the other commenter commented on…Long Live the Maple Leaf Bar and KOAK!
Wow. impressive, very impressive. Looks great, it’s been a long time coming!
No better place to pass a good time than at the Maple Leaf Bar. Great Music Cold Beverages and the Best People all in one groovy place ALL the TIME!!
Most excellent! And to reitterate, yes, no better place, no better time.
Wow! The Maple Leaf Bar with a cool website! Pretty amazing for those of us who remember when it took a united customer base pestering non-stop to get A/C installed in the music room.
That and the Rads refusing to play there anymore because they each lost five pounds every time they did.
Snazzy website! Good job.
I’ll be in NOLA for the first time for my birthday in a couple of weeks and already know I’ll be spending time here.
And how ’bout that foxy bartender Jeff!!! Or is it Jake?
101is Runners this weekend. Last month at the Leaf they were tight, real tight. AJ is laying down the beat, Worrell is working overtime, Jones gets it, War Chief Juan Pardo is on the move., Billy had a few new intros which were excellent. The crowd all sang Ho Na Nae. Rock with these guys.
Johnnie Sketch and the Dirty Notes Saturday Nite. Be there or be square. Do you want to party?
Jamies Bernstein rocks Black Santa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5EndL-FJww
I and wie will all miss Tracey. I know you will be well. I will always remember our 1st couple of days together at the Leaf-friends for life.
I haven’t heard anything about Vinyl playing Mapleleaf @ jazzfest this year. It just wouldn’t be right if I can’t see them there. Are they playing somewhere else?? Hey, Mapleleaf…please say it ain’t so!
Did you all know this great show from the Maple leaf was available for free on line?
The radiators, November 8th 1985!
Free to stream and free to download. It’s on my MP3 player, hope the management sees this and adds some of it to their jukebox!
What is going ot be happening here during the french quarter fest????
Wondering if anyone can tell me the names of the 3 guys who sat in with Jason Ricci on Saturday night on sax, guitar, and harp?? Also, the drummer – I don’t think that is New Blood’s regular drummer. ? BTW, Jason & New Blood were phenomenal. Great show!
Great looking website, but I’m confused…how do I buy tickets to shows?
