Hey New Orleans.... Come On Out for the 8th Annual Jamie Galloway Block Party and Crawfish Boil on Sunday March 22nd. Help raise money for the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, The HARDEST WORKING Charity in NOLA, while feasting on mudbugs and listening to some great tunes all day long. Dave Jordan and NIA, Iko Allstars, Alvin Youngblood Heart with Papa Mail, Creole String Beans, and Mikey B3 are just some of the acts that will entertain guests as we serve up crawfish with all the fixins .. Kicks off at 3PM and ends with a FREE show in The Maple Leaf Bar LATE NIGHT.
For two decades Jamie Galloway touched the lives and rocked the New Orleans music scene as a member of the band Juice, playing alongside his longtime friend, Dave Jordan. In 2013, Jamie's life was cut short but his memory lives on with the annual crawfish boil celebration benefiting healthcare for local musicians. Each year the crawfish boil raises important funding for the local cultural community!
