He has shown interest in playing multiple instruments since the beginning. By age 14, he was playing organ and directing the choir at church. When Isaac relocated to the Gulf Coast of Florida at the age of 21 he began diving deeper into songwriting. He established himself not only as a drummer, but as a full time multi - instrumentalist.
In 2016 after countless talks and performances with mentors (Big D Perkins, Donnie Sundal, and Kevin Scott), Isaac made the move to New Orleans where he has been teaching and collaborating with world class musicians.
Isaac has performed with artists such as: Jabo Starks, Nigel Hall, Rhiannon Giddens, Papa Mali, Russell Batiste, Jenifer Harswick, Stanton Moore, Warren Batiste, and Luther Dickinson.
Isaac spent the summer of 2019 playing bass guitar on tour with the Grammy nominated mardi gras indian funk band Cha Wa. They played at festivals such as The Montreal Jazz Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, and Monterey Jazz Festival.
Also in the summer of 2019 Isaac recorded his debut record in which he played drums, keys, bass, and the guitar. It is scheduled to be released for the summer of 2020.
