l'm back at the Maple Leaf in two weeks with my band! Our recent Jazz Roads Tour was such a success that I just HAD to bring these guys back to the Leaf so that my favorite venue can see what l've been up to. I'm also excited to feature a young phenom on piano, Seth Finch.

About The Event
New Orleans saxophonist, composer, and educator Jason Mingledorff brings three decades of musical excellence to the stage. A versatile performer who's played with everyone from the Rolling Stones and Elton John to Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, Mingledorff is deeply rooted in New Orleans' rich musical traditions. From his early work with Papa Grows Funk and the New Orleans Nightcrawlers (Grammy winners for Best Regional Roots Album) to his acclaimed collaborations with St. Paul & the Broken Bones and beyond, he delivers soulful, high-energy performances that showcase his individual approach to jazz, funk, and blues. His talents have even landed him on the big screen—he appeared in season 29 of The Simpsons with the Nightcrawlers. His latest album, The Journal Sessions, pays tribute to the infectious grooves of his home.
