Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Jaz Butler began her musical journey in 2004. She immediately knew that it really was her calling. Around 2008 she began playing at her home church, and brings a wealth of funky beats and an amazing ability to keep the band in a pocket and steady groove.
