Join legendary New Orleans drummer Johnny Vidacovich, renowned for his 12 OffBeat Magazine Best of the Beat Awards and his work with the jazz quartet Astral Project, as he performs with accomplished pianist Oscar Rossignoli at the Maple Leaf Bar. Rossignoli, a New Orleans-based musician who earned his Masters from UNO's music department and was recognized as a finalist for the prestigious Ellis Marsalis International Jazz Piano Competition, brings sophisticated jazz and classical influences to this intimate trio setting. Known for his ability to weave together reggae, bebop, street beats, and blues rhythms, Vidacovich showcases his improvisational mastery alongside Rossignoli's compositional expertise for a night of unpredictable, boundary-pushing New Orleans jazz.
