Funk drummer and producer Adam Deitch (Lettuce, Break Science, Adam Deitch Quartet) brings his razor-sharp rhythm and jazz-fusion sensibilities to the stage, locking in with Hammond B-3 organ virtuoso Wil Blades — a Chicago-born multi-instrumentalist primarily known as a jazz organist, composer, and writer who found his true calling on the Hammond B-3 at 19, landing weekly gigs at John Lee Hooker's Boom Boom Room in San Francisco while studying jazz at New College of California. Named a "Rising Star" in DownBeat's 2007 and 2008 critics polls for organ, Blades has performed and recorded with Melvin Sparks, Idris Muhammad, Joe Louis Walker, Donald Harrison, Karl Denson, Charlie Hunter, and Stanton Moore, among many others.
