The Lucky Strokes are rolling into the Maple Leaf and you do NOT want to sleep on this. This is the project of Eddie Roberts — yeah, the guitarist from The New Mastersounds — and he's brought together one hell of a crew: Mississippi guitarist and vocalist Shelby Kemp bringing that Southern rock grit, plus the Galbraith sisters holding down a rhythm section that only blood relatives can pull off.
The vibe? Think Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings got into a room with James Brown and nobody left until something seriously cool came out. Country soul, funk-driven grooves, and straight-up honest rock 'n' roll — it's the kind of thing that makes you stop mid-sip and go "wait, who IS this?"
