Johnny Sketch himself steps out in an intimate trio setting for a night of genre-bending improvisation and New Orleans groove. Marc Paradis — the multi-instrumentalist mastermind behind Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes — brings his guitar, electric cello, and boundary-pushing musical vision to the legendary Maple Leaf Bar for an evening that strips things down without losing any of the fire.

Rooted in the rich soil of the New Orleans music scene and armed with classical training and a restless creative spirit, Paradis moves fluidly between jazz, funk, rock, and the blues with the kind of effortless fluency only a lifetime spent playing in this city can produce. In a trio format, every note counts — and Paradis delivers, with the chemistry and spontaneity that make live music in New Orleans unlike anywhere else on earth.

Come early, stay late, and let the music take you somewhere unexpected.
