The Noah Young band was started in New Orleans in 2015 and have already been making waves in the local music scene through there high energy performances and focus on original compositions. The band blends elements of Funk and Jazz into a bass-heavy, electric stew that sounds like the future while paying its respects to the past. Comprised of some of the most talented and in-demand young players in the city, the band is made up of members of Bonerama, Sturgill Simpson, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Naughty Professor, Corey Henry’s Treme Funktet and more. The Noah Young Band has performed at many premier New Orleans music venues including: Tipitina’s, Blue Nile, Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz Playhouse, and more. Ramping up to release their debut album Start The Reactor in the beginning of 2017, the future is looking bright for the Noah Young Band.
