About The Event
New Orleans bassist, vocalist and composer Roland Guerin brings ProgFunk to the stage a bass-driven collision of funk, progressive rock, jazz, soul and New Orleans musical tradition. Drawing from his years alongside legends including Allen Toussaint and Dr. John, Guerin combines deep grooves, adventurous musicianship and storytelling into a sound uniquely his own.
For this October 24 performance, Guerin is joined by Seth Finch, John Jones and Derek Douget for an explosive night of original PROG:FUNK music rooted in Louisiana, but built to push well beyond traditional genre boundaries.
Think New Orleans groove meets progressive rock, with world-class jazz musicianship at its core.
