The band plays groove-driven funk and rock featuring soulful melodies and heart-felt lyrics. Vocal harmonies over syncopated percussion are punctuated by passionate solos.
Best known as a founding member of Honey Island Swamp Band and the leader of afro-cuban jazz group OTRA, bass player Sam Price formed the True Believers in December 2015 to perform original music featuring his song-writing and singing.
