New Orleans drummer, composer, and musical polymath Wayne Maureau brings his signature project VieuxDoo Nouveau to the legendary Maple Leaf Bar for a night of original music rooted deep in the Crescent City's soul.
A born-and-raised New Orleans native with over 30 years in the thick of the local scene, Maureau is one of the most versatile and in-demand drummers the city has produced — a key member of Walter "Wolfman" Washington and the Roadmasters, the Joe Krown Trio, Trifuncta, and more.
